Creggor
Hello. Last week almost feel off my feet while in my local Walgreen I saw a bottle of 93 EWSB Whipped out $17.99 on sale on have that baby set aside for me for when I fell like the time is right. This stuff in the past does not seem to surface around here till later in the year. I will advise my comments on the 93 Vintage after I try it. Creggor. jeff
I have been seeing this one for a couple of weeks now. I have been forking over so much money lately for bourbons I have not tried before that I have passed on it so far. Actually I have only sampled the 91 vintage. I guess I need to seek out a 92 before they are all gone and save the 93 for later in the year
jeffmac
Where have you seen this in Lexington Jeff? As of Friday night it wasn't at Liquour Barn or else I was overlooking it.
jeff
I saw it at the LB in Beaumont Center, and at the Shoppers Village at New Circle and Broadway. At both places they were mixed in with the 92, so you might need to look past the first bottle in the row to find one.
jeffmac
Thanks Jeff. I was at the Beaumont location (my home away from home) but just glanced and saw the '92 which I still haven't tried. I need to get both while I still have some '91 left just for a comparison. According to Malt Advocate, the '93 has a lot of the same mustiness that was supposedly evident in the '92. jeff
There have been some here who have said that they preffered the 91 to the 92. I had hoped to snag another bottle of 91, but apparently time got away from me and I can't seem to locate any. I hope I like the 92; I'm sure it will be decent. However, if others are correct in their assesments of the 92, it may be another long year for lovers of the 91.
Barrel_Proof
The '91 EWSB disappeared before I snagged one. If anyone locates one or has one to trade, please PM! Thanks.

Barrel_Proof
OK, dear moderator, we hear the challenge, but are you demanding a taste profile of the '93 or the '91?
MurphyDawg
(a different moderator ups the challenege. . .) Although I think Linn means the '93, I'd like to see tasting notes for BOTH! ! TomC
Guest **DONOTDELETE**
The '93 vintage Cliff. Since you started this thread in 'Tastings' there just ought to be a tasting in here somewhere.
Guest **DONOTDELETE**
SNATCH up a bottle of the '93 vintage just as soon as you can! I just drank the better part of a bottle and it is very good. It is much more like the 1990 vintage and very much like their excellent Evan Williams Master Distiller's Select. Much better than last year's very disappointing '92. - Linn
Bob
I got a bottle of the '93 vintage yesterday, and enjoyed tasting it last evening. VERY delicious! Totally smooth, and very flavorful. Bob
