I came across this interesting article that was posted in the Kentucky Kernel last year, not sure if it had been posted here before, i searched SB but was unable to find a reference.

Anywho, it's a brief article that touches on the 10 octillion bottles of 200-proof alcohol floating in space and this professor relates it to alcohol, namely bourbon.

Now we know why NASA spends billions of dollars trying to get into space. They have located the mother load of alcohol. The new space race is on!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news (no, really, I do), but most alcohol in space is methanol. See this.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to drink methanol. It'd take a lot of $$$$ & trouble to try to collect all the alcohol, anyway--I'll just take the easy route here on Earth!
