Ohio is a total control state. Since the state owns all of the liquor on the shelves of every store, there are no dusties. None. Nada.

If you're from KY, there's no reason to hunt bourbon in Ohio.

Here's the state price list. There is no guarantee that the item you are looking for will be in the store that you visit.

I was talking to a distributor and the further you get from Kentucky, the fewer bourbon drinkers there are. Cleveland is mostly a vodka town, Columbus is 50/50, and Cincinnati has more bourbon drinkers than vodka drinkers. I have had some luck in getting bottles that sell out quickly in Kentucky still available in Ohio, but as special orders, not sitting on the shelves. In my local store, vodka has nearly three times the shelf space as bourbon.

I have the best luck at ABC Liquors at 161 & Karl, Kroger 1350 N. High & Kroger Westerville.  ABC also has a bimonthly lottery permitting you to buy Eagle Rare, Pappy, Sazerac, etc.

Cheers.

Yikes, aged, but not in a charred oak barrel!
