ErichPryde
I came across a couple of bottles of Ardbeg Rollercoaster today. They are 99.00 each, and I'm looking for some information on them. How do they compare to the ardbeg 10 year old, Coryvreckan, Ueigiadail and Nam Beist (I know I'm butchering these names...)?
JohnHansell
Rollercoaster tastes younger. Still a nice whisky, but I like Corry better.
AVB
I'l have to agree with John, think of the Coryvreckan as the top of the mountain and the Rollercoaster riding on the shoulders. I still like my bottle though it is pricey.
sku
I like Uigeadail and Airigh Nam Beist better than Corry and Corry better than Rollercoaster, though all are essentially good. Rollercoaster is very young tasting. Corry, to me, is similar to the ten year old, but I didn't do them side by side. Here's a comparrions of Corry and Rollercoaster:http://recenteats.blogspot.com/2010/03/whiskey-wednesday-two-new-ardbegs.html
ErichPryde
thanks guys. In that case, I think I'll steer clear, and look for something else.
