A rare find!

I found 4 bottles of what appears to be the gold foil tops for 350 here in town... Sooo... Is it not as good as the blue or gold wax?

Price is subjective but this is my opinion only. If it is $350 for all four then run to get them. If that price is for one then I would suggest getting three bottles of PVW20 or five bottles of PVW15 instead.

I have tried the gold foil AH Hirsch and it didn't impress me to be over $300 and I am one that don't mind paying for good bourbon or a taste of history.

I tend to agree...if they are about $60 I would buy one and try it to see if you like it. Then go back and buy the rest if you decide they are to your liking. I paid about $85 for my first bottle and remember thinking..."I'd have enjoyed a PVW 20 more." There is something to be said for bunkering the others for trading in the future. After all they are getting harder and harder to come by.

Good advice.... I picked up 1 PVW20, 1 PVW15, 1 10/90, 1 10/107, 1 BTAC WLW, and a Michter's SB. I'm always happy with the Pappy.

Great find on the 3 bottles! I was at a store today that had a bottle of the 20 yo Finest Reserve red wax. The price was $500.
