Veevee
Greetings.I've been lurking on the board for a few weeks, and have enjoyed it immensely. Thanks all.I have a question about Henry McKenna-because some I had at a bar here in Chicago called Delilah's was probly the best I've tasted. My fave so far anyway. You would all dig Delilah's I believe-they claim to have 100 bourbons-and a hunderd beers. From the looks of the back of the bar, they have something very close to a hunderd and it always takes them a while to find my requests!Funny to watch them take out a bottle and put it back, repeat for a minute or a few!A store here has Mckenna 10 year old 100 pr. (with the paper fold-out label in green, and bottling serial numbers) that is available in either of two different vint's: 1986 and 1992-I think.Any fans of this bottling that can steer me to the proper one? Or compare the two?And how would anybody rate the regular Mckenna?By the way, my other faves are Hancocks Reserve, and now I keep getting new and great warm feelings about Pappy's 10 year old 90 pr, that I am lucky enough to be trying for the first time. My first Van Winkle...Salud,Christopher
ratcheer
Back in the early 70's, Henry McKenna was one of my favorites. I haven't had any in about 30 years, though.Tim
