jburlowski
Had a bad (cork-tainted) bottle of Sam Houston that I dumped. Also got rid of most of a bottle of WR4G that I got as a "gift". (The WR4G that I bought myself went back to WR for a refund.)
Special Reserve
To date I've not dumped any bourbon. I've dumped a few beer in their time. Most notably from Leopold Brothers defunct of Ann Arbor. NO wonder why they went out of business.I can't say I've ever had a bad cork, but like several here, I've used selected bottles for cooking. independant
I dumped a bottle of JBW once and even took a picture of myself doing it. But that was just meant to mess with someone.

Luna56
I never dumped any bourbon down the drain but I was gifted a small bottle of rare and somewhat expensive grappa that made me want to hurl as soon as it hit my palate. Out it went. I kept the bottle around for a long time and periodically try to taste it to see if it was just hitting me wrong, but every taste was just as revolting. I love grappa, but this stuff had a very strange, moldy taste to it that I assume was deliberate. Finally got down to the last ounce or so in the bottle a few months ago and the moldiness had subsided to the point that the stuff was almost enjoyable. But I killed a lotta grass in my yard getting to that point.Cheers!
jpact
I dumped half of a bottle of Macallan 12 year-old that had a distracting and unpleasant sulpher component to it. I kept going back to it every 2 months or so to see if my memory was bad, bu no, it was just the whisky that was bad. :shithappens: -Jim

Dutchie66
A bottle of Bourbon Supreme. There was nothing supreme about it.And a bottle of Kentucky Gentleman-- this was a old bottle which had gone bad.
Lost Pollito
Never, never have I dumped any bourbon down the drain. Spitting, is different.
Rotgut
Just could not drink it and figured if I didn't pour it out I just might.I should probably follow that logic. I'm too cheap, though. OC res, EC12, and WT/RR 90 have come close. I have trouble dumping stuff - I'm pretty sure I can cook or dump 'em in some Coke or something eventually. Although I made bourbon balls with some RR, and its taste was still fairly obvious and kinda ruined them. For non-bourbon, I gave away most of a bottle of Jose Quervo. A tiny sip of it will give me headaches the next day. I've also exchanged a bottle of Eagle Rare that was horribly musty. Mike
