Weller 12 year. Opened about a year ago, mostly very good except for the last couple of pours, seems to have lost somehting. Then again, probably my taste buds were out of wack over the weekend.

Finished the last drops of my first serious bottle of bourbon - Bulleit. I was sitting with the family watching a great movie, which turned into two great movies, and slowly proceeded to drink 3/4 of the entire bottle in one sitting. Yes, I was pleasantly snockered, but it was my first experience where I said "Oh man, is this stuff ever delicious." Woke up next day, thirsty but no hangover, and in love forever with bourbon. Before, whisky was always a chore that I thought I had to go through for tradition's sake. But this stuff was absolutely super, and although there's nothing special about Bulleit, I'm saving the bottle forever.

A couple of good ones gave up their last pours this week. An ER 101 and an Everett's Weller 12 are now gone, but not forgotten. :frown: A current bottle of VSOF will soon join them in the recycle bin. Joe

And...... the VSOF is also now in the recycle bin alongside the ER 101 and Everett's Weller 12. Joe

A VWFRR gave up its last pour Sunday night. This is a current favorite, glad I've got a few more.

With great pains, I emptied the last drop from a ORVW 23yo 114. I wonder if my friends will still come around if word gets out? Now, what to put in that decanter? tim

Or fill it with Rebel Yell and see if they can tell the difference.

Since it was the BOTM, I have been delving into my bottle of Henry McKenna 10 yr SB BIB lately. I even took some to the bowling alley to share with the guys Wednesday night. Well, I drained the last drop tonight. Adios, and farewell. It was nice knowin' ya'. Cheers! Joe

I just finished off a bottle of Buffalo Trace. It was my only bottle I had right now. I don't get paid again until next friday. I will have to go a whole week without anything!

Three more laid to rest in the last week. Everett's Weller SR, Lot B, and Pappy 20. All good soldiers. Joe

Add an 81 Old Forester BIB to the list.

Elmer T Lee. Not as good as the first bottle I bought a few months back, but still solid. Looking forward to buying another and seeing how it compares.

Another one somehow disappeared yesterday. :skep: 09 GTS. Been doing real good on finishing some of my open ones lately. Joe

PVW 15. Lasted longer than the girlfriend who was with me when I bought it. And just like when a relationship ends, when a bottle ends, you go out and get a better one.

I just filtered the last of my '07 Stagg and tossed the bottle into the recycle bin.

Gone but will never be forgotten.
