Although there is no link to get there, the Weller Centennial page still exits here, as does the page for Virginia Gentleman here. This will be valuable info a few years from now.

At least the Weller Antique has pix of the current NAS bottle, not the 7yo.

I'm guessing the Bowman bourbons are replacing the Virginia Gentleman.

Mr. Joe Dangler told me that he thought eventually they will make it out of the state. They took the place of the label with the fox hunting scene. The regular label is still available and will be. The rye is excellent. Another thing I was told is that they plan to start back mashing there.

I've never really understood that site. No RHF or Hancock, but brands BT doesn't own are on there too, like AA, Blanton's and Van Winkle. I guess it's all bourbons and ryes made at distilleries owned by Sazerac? At least there's no snorting Buffalo.

The three whiskeys received mixed reviews. I love the rye and single barrel! - but others must not share my enthusiasm because sales seem sluggish. From what I understand, they didn't produce much of the current stock, but I don't know that for fact, just assumption. If current stock is limited, then if they do offer in other states, it would probably just be a few states. Has anyone heard what future production plans are for these products?

I've been seeing Buffalo Trace White Dog on the shelves, but I don't see it on the updated BT website. Unless I missed it. Is that going to be a regular continued offering or is this just a limited offering?

The "Great Bourbon" site has never been comprehensive. They've always had some brands and products they sell that aren't shown there. All they have done with this update is integrate the major Bowman and Tom Moore brands, as well as Old Taylor. This site has always been distinct from the Buffalo Trace web site (the one with the snorting bison), which is oriented toward the distillery and the Buffalo Trace Bourbon brand. Buffalo Trace, the brand, is a very small part of Sazerac's whiskey portfolio.

Example 1: although Buffalo Trace bourbon is featured on the "Great Bourbon" web site, Tom Moore bourbon is not.

Example 2: Sazerac Rye is not a "great bourbon," but it's on the "Great Bourbon" site.

Example 3: BT White Dog is not a "great bourbon" either, but it's not on the "Great Bourbon" site.

I stand corrected. Maybe we should petition for it to be renamed Bison Trace or change the mascot.

I was told today the White Dog is expected to be a regular fixture on the shelves for quite some time. I was just surprised to start seeing it outside of the holy state of Kentucky.
