I picked up a bottle of this in France for around 10 Euros. The label says made in USA, bottled in France. No indication of distillery. It was pretty good for the money. I didn't see an age statement, but I'm not sure how closely the EU follows our regulations.

The label says under US supervision and they call it straight bourbon so it's got to be at least 4yo if there's no age statement.

Also it looks like those statements are there for selling it to people who know bourbon or want to know bourbon.

So I doubt they would "cut corners".
