The BTAC is in stores in Frankfort! I will be picking up my WLW and GTS today!

It's nearly sold out in Louisville...bought the last two from one LB, another only had (tons of) Handy left...

The fact sheet says it is 17yrs and 7 months....:skep: :skep: :skep:

Yea sorry about that. 55. Here are the sheets.

The winter of 1993 would probably mean Nov-Dec 1992. Bottled 17 years 7 months later in Jun-Jul 2010.

OK, let's say it was bottled in Aug 2010, that puts the distillation at Jan 1993 for 17y 7m.

I guess a mod didn't like my post and deleted it.

142 barrels of Stagg. That is over 19,000 bottles. Be prepared for the ebay rush... I bet you will see it in about 2 weeks from now.

17y7m? Odd as that's the same age as this years' Eagle Rare 17...different distilling season though...Spring for ER Winter for Stagg...though the same bottling season...must be some interesting math in the BT lab..

Of course since there are only actually two distilling seasons (Spring and Fall) where is winter coming from in the first place?

Maybe BT/Sazerac doesn't count the seasons in the tradition of bourbon distillers, which there are two as you mentioned Spring & Fall.

So when they use Winter as a date I assume it's the same period that is on the calendar, Dec 21-Mar 21.

I got that same email Oscar. That is a very nice price. One that I doubt will travel west to California. I am out this year, but will be looking to see the price once I find it.

Do you think they will offer shipping on these? I noticed a lot of the bourbon on their site, they specify NO SHIPPING in the description. Do you have to shop in store for everything?

I wouldn't even try to say when the BTAC will hit MI.

Last year they hit the shelves in KY the last week of September and were in the rest of the lower 48 states except MI in Oct, we got it mid-Nov.

I have some orders in at several retailers here and some others are getting some bad vibes from the Sazerac/Buffalo Trace/Rain company.

They were told that these bottles only go out by what your store sold in the previous year.

They all responded that how can we get on the list if you don't sell me some initial bottles?

But on the bright side I always have eBay to go to.

I don't believe we'll be getting any BTAC in Oregon this year. I base this on the fact that every year the OLCC bumps the price, and that change is announced in a monthly price change list sometime prior to the actual release (last year it was in the August list).

No such announcement this year.

There are, however, at least five bottles of '09 Handy collecting dust. Two are right here in River City.
