Knockando?

Does anyone know anything about this line? To start, how do you pronounce it? I saw a nice 3 bottle display set of a 12, 18, and 21 year in a store, at a reasonable price. Thinking I might pick it up for my dark-side drinking friends, if it is any good. Plus, it would look good on the bar. Thank you in advance for any help that anyone might provide.

From my experience Joe, it's "No-Can-Do", but that's only because I've never seen nor heard anything about this brand. Guess I'm not much help.

Were these distillery bottlings or independents? I don't know that I've every seen a distillery bottling of Knockando on the shelf in the US. It's a pretty straight ahead Speysider.

I think I have seen some distillery bottles on the shelf but it might have been Knockdhu, which is now known by a different name.

The MJ reviews of it [Knockando] I've read were pretty mediocre.

The older expressions of Knockando are often very nice.

Thanks, all. There certainly is not a lot of info on this brand floating around. It's a nice looking display shelf, and John's endorsement of the older expressions is tempting, but I'm going to ruminate for a while on whether,or not, to pull the trigger.
