A Couple of Strange Ones

OK, so I have an unopened liter bottle of Stonebrook about which I found 1 thread on this site explaining that it was a specialty bottling from Heaven Hill which I believe is true. Now, the one I can find nothing about anywhere so far is an also unopened bottle of Old Colonel Randolph. I bought these probably about 20 years ago at Zimmerman's in Chicago before it was bought up by Binny's. I actually met Max the Hat (Zimmerman) and have an Ezra Brooks decanter in the shape of his head (cool).

So, does anyone know anything about the origins of the Old Colonel Randolph? Tasting notes...?

Sorry about that good Sir, I thought it might fall under the "specialty bottlings" part of this category.

So, you've never heard of the OCR...? I really did like Max's store when it was on Grand. He had some interesting stock.
