bvscfanatic
One thing is for sure after reading this list. Most of us are happy as long as there's some OGD around. At least Fortune Brands gets one thing right. My sentiments exactly!!!
bvscfanatic
There is one thing which I have very definitely learned from this thread. No question about it. Next year I MUST acquire some PVW 15. This year, I grabbed 5 fifths of ORVW 10. It's wonderful, and I nearly included it in my list. It would have been my #6. Bourbon Boiler
1. Blanton's - my favorite2. Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit - my #23. Bulleit - value4. Fighting Cock - inexpensive and a disticntly different flavor from 1 & 25. Booker's - need a high proof optionThese aren't my 5 favorites, but I think it's a variety of cost, proof, and flavor I could get by with.

CorvallisCracker
This one is easy for me, because my wife drinks bourbon. George
This is tough. To make it easier, I limited my choices to four for everyday ($25 or less) and one for special occasions. In no particular order...1. EC 122. EWSB (a bit higher than $25 around here, but it's one of my favorites)3. MM4. OWA or Weller SR5. PVW 15I would also consider replacing MM with Dickel 12. mrmountainhop
One thing is for sure after reading this list. Most of us are happy as long as there's some OGD around. Man, that surprised me. And not so much the recurrence of PVW15, but its huge popularity. Going to have to pick up another bottle.Mine:VWFRRTHH RyeWLWORVW 10/107 PVW 20As a friend of mine once said, "Bill, you're a Buffalo Trace man." Hard to argue, with this list. That said, give me an endless supply of Rittenhouse 23 and I'd probably sub it for the VWFRR. (Oh, as long as I'm here, the 2010 WLW is aMAZing whiskey.)Bill
