George Washington Distillery LE Vatted

Hey all!

Anybody ever have the George Washington Distillery Limited Edition Vatted American Whiskey?

I have a sample here, given to me from somebody. It's a small little bottle from a nice small package, with it's own tiny shot glass. The bottle reads (on the back)...

This limited edition is a unique blend of Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Very old Barton, Virginia Gentleman, George Dickel, Makers Mark, Woodford Reserve, I.W. Harper, Rebel Yell and Platte Valley (geez that's a mouthfull...)

commingled and aged at Mount Vernon.

umm.. okay :confused:

So I am going to make a video tasting of this thing... but has anyone had it before? They have been starting to sell whiskey made at Mount Vernon and I am curious if anyone has had any...

I've had it! It was OK, but IMO nothing to write home about.

I've also had the unaged rye that they were selling during the grand opening -- again, if I had a bottle (they sold out really quick) it would be worth more to me as a collector's item than it would be as a drink, since it's basically white dog.

What is really going to be tasty is the peach brandy we made there in october.
