bcrossan
I am curious how different the batches of Jefferson Presidential Select 17 year are? I know John H scored batch 1 a 96, but is there a huge drop in quality with subsequent batches? Anyone have specific thoughts about batches 7 or 8? M14Shooter
I had some batch 7 .I thought it was very good.I paid $69 for a bottle.I have two bottles in my bunker. But probably will not buy any more.I think it a good bourbon but I think there are better high end bourbons out there for less money.I bought them just to get a little piece of bourbon history. For my palate I like 7 year Old S/W Old Fitz better. But that stuff is very hard to find.Regards,Mike
CorvallisCracker
The one bottle I bought was from Batch #5. Both I and my wife liked it.The store where I bought it still has a number of bottles, probably all from the same batch.Oregon price is $95. Right now I can't afford any more at that price.
