bourbonNOOG
Stagg is here but doesn't seem to move fast. I saw 8-10 bottles in a single row in a store yesterday whereas the same store will put out only one bottle at a time of Pappy 15 just to prevent customers from trying to buy more than one. bcrossan
Do any of the stores ship? To Ca.?My normal suppliers only got 1-3 bottles and most were sold. Thanks
buckey48
TX stores do not ship. They are governed by the communist organization known as TABC. Technically, nobody is allowed to ship into TX either :hot:That isn't very nice. Keep all the good stuff in TX.Guess I will have keep looking. David D
I can answer a few questions here. As a major retailer, allocations were drastically cut at first to make sure they did not unfairly give too many to one account. This led to panic with many of us who knew we wouldn't come close to satisfying even our best customers. I personally NEVER put one bottle out on the store floor. Like others have said, you had to know me and be on my whiskey email list to get a bottle. I've received probably about 30 bottles of Stagg so far and will probably get a few more before it's all said and done. But I don't think anyone is putting them on the shelf. The problem comes down to being fair. Sazerac has more stores than ever who want them. We have 5x more customers who want them than last year. I had to do an extraordinary amount of work to make sure that everyone got one and that they were evenly distributed among loyal customers. jburlowski
They must have gotten another shipment. they were sold out the day I went there. (their original release day)I asked Jay Erisman at PS. He said that some markets apparently (and unbelievably) turned their allocation back, so he was able to get some additional supply.
