CorvallisCracker
You're not offending me, but you may want to google Chuck Cowdery and John Hansell. For some reason, this reminded me of a certain episode of 30 Rock
Josh
I googled myself just this morning. This one goes out to Phil: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjkJfMrQ4bc Welcome to SB.com!
callmeox
That's got to be one of the most memorable first posts in a long time.
jburlowski
ET 354 KSBW just hit the shelves locally. Attractive packaging. About $14. I didn't pull the trigger.
tmckenzie
I went by the party source on my way back to ny and it was on the shelves for 13 bucks. I got a bottle. From what I can tell so far it is a solid, well priced bourbon. I get some corn, but a good rye fruitiness. If I had to say, I think it may be the et mashbill with the old forester yeast. I was pleasantly surprised.
cowdery
My assumption is that it is the same ET bourbon they're selling in Europe. I can't see any reason for them to have made a different recipe.
craigthom
I saw it today, and it's an awfully fancy package for a $15 bourbon.I was working at a liquor store back when they switched ET from bourbon to "Kentucky whiskey". I noticed it, but I don't think too many others did, and I don't think any of the regular buyers noticed or cared. If I could go back in time, I could pick up some bottles for a taste test, but I'd rather bring back a few cases of Lem Motlow, which I am pretty sure I could have purchased for under $5 a bottle with my employee discount. ThomasH
I have a full unopened bottle of ET bourbon from before they took it of the US market. I wil defnitely get a bottle of the new stuff to do a comparson!Thomas

unclebunk
Still looking for the "new" Early Times bourbon but haven't found it yet. I guess I'll have to make a run to Binny's. Oh, and while I'm there I'll have to get some Guinness FES, and some more WT101, and another bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream for the wife, and the Amrut Fusion I've been eyeing. Damn, a man could go broke buying some Early Times!

TomFischer
We attended the ET 354 launch party last week, did a video review & interview with Master Distiller Chris Morris on this link - Early Times 354Looking forward to this one being available everywhere. JohnHansell
I'll hold off until some tasting notes are posted.I'm not very crazy about it. Evan Williams is better and less expensive (IMHO). Here's my formal review.
squire
Thanks John, just what I asked for, I was hoping for more of a step up in this bottling.
fishnbowljoe
Ditto here. Thanks John. I was really wondering about this. I bought a bottle of their 150th Anniversary Whiskey, and while I wasn't impressed, it was palatable. Maybe I can get a couple of my bowling buddies to chip in on a bottle and save some money. Cheers! Joe
OscarV
Evan Williams is better and less expensive And more expensive than EW? Any word on what the age may be?How old is Old Forester?
fishnbowljoe
What's the price on that 354? And how much more is it than ET KY Whiskey? And how does it taste? That's 3 questions. Is that to many? Opps that makes 4 questions. Price. $15.00 Price vs. regular ET. Don't know. Didn't bother to look. Taste. It's just okay. Nothing to write home about. You can definitely tell it's a Brown Forman product. There's a vague resemblance to the Old Forester Repeal bourbon. Much lighter and not as flavorful though. Plenty of corn, that's for sure. Too many questions. No. Glad you can still count. Even though I don't particularly care too much for the ET 354, IMHO it is a much better attempt at a "new" product, than what came about with the Old Crow Reserve. The ET 354 is, at the very least palatable. I had to pour my Old Crow Reserve down the drain. I won't pour this one down the drain. Joe

Virus_Of_Life
This is disappointing. I personally love the OF Repeal and think it was damn good bourbon so I can't imagine why they can't come up with another decent product.

keng
I decided I'd pick this up while at the store without any preconceived ideas since I hadn't read anything on this one. I'm having a glass right now and it isn't bad. Unfortunately, it really isn't impressive either. Seems flat.I'll finish no doubt.
