Not really a cake, but my wife tried something new this year as far as Christmas cookies go. She made bourbon-pecan tassies. They're a bit like a bourbon pecan pie in a mini pastry cup. Good stuff. :yum: Joe

I posted this recipe on my blog a couple weeks back. I made it last year and it turned out pretty darn good which I think had to do with the basting process three weeks prior to serving.
