silverfish
FLD gets a mention in the Sunday 2/6/11 edition of The Buffalo News"One Tank Trip".Looks like the bourbon is ready as the article mentions "For $2 you can sample three spirits, as we did, choosing the classics -- vodka, gin and bourbon." and I do see it listed on some NY on-line stores.Perhaps I can talk my wife into heading on down for a visit. The nearby winery might help sweeten the deal!
tmckenzie
Yes, we do have bourbon now. Very good bourbon. If anybody on here is up our way, let me know and I will give you a good tour and tasting.

silverfish
I received an e-mail update announcing the FLD Bourbon & DerbyDay Party on May 7th:"Bourbon Batch #4 is out and may be the tastiest yet. It's here just in time for our second annual Kentucky Derby Party went on sale last week. This is one of the best FLD events of the year. The event kicks off at 5:30 with some great food and cocktails prepared by the Stonecat Cafe. We'll have live music from the Djug Django Trio and regular tastings of FLD products. The big race will be shown live and then we'll conclude the evening with bourbon balls and tours of our facility by the man pictured above (when not competing in horse races, he spends his time running the still at FLD).Tickets are $50 per person and you must order soon! We are limited to 100 attendees and last day of ticket sales will be Monday, May 2. The event sold out well in advance last year. You can order your tickets by calling the distillery anytime during regular business hours - 11 am to 5 pm. We will reserve your spot with credit card payment."Hey callmeox, got any plans for that weekend?!

cas
I grew up in that area but don't get back very often any more. This sounds like one more excuse for a trip.Craig
