cowdery
I'm put off by an microdistiller who calls his product "moonshine," with the caveat that at least MB Roland's moonshine is more-or-less authentic since it is 50/50 corn and sugar. Anybody who wants to make 'moonshine' should acknowledge that most actual moonshine is sugar jack. It sure as hell isn't vodka (like Junior Johnson's).As for these guys in Connecticut, why did they name their vodka after Liberian dictator Charles Taylor? tmckenzie
Don't you love how the story says they are bring alcohol in and at the bottom in last sentence it say"it's all made right here". What a joke. This kind of junk give the people who are trying to do it right a bad name.
callmeox
I noticed that as well. The sad part is the "can't wait to try it" blurb in there. People are so easily influenced by press like this.Craft spirits, farm to fork, locally sourced, lots of nice buzzwords meaning nothing in this case unless there are there lemon groves in Connecticut for the fruit in the limoncello.
