Industry Leader of the Year: "Glencairn Crystal" - Love the glasses. I'll stand behind this one
squire
I've got no problem with any of the awards.
trumpstylz
Yeah, good choices. It is a little saddening though: American bourbon/whiskies did so well at this year's awards, I feel like next year will be dominated by our friends from across the pond (or the great Northern territory some call "Canada"). CaptainQ
Very disappointed with John's pick in "Top Ten New Whiskies". I don't think 2010 WLW deserved a spot on that list. A glaring omission of the 2010 Parkers Heritage 10 year wheater that pretty much every one here(including myself) loves.:frown:

BradleyC
My thoughtsAmerican Whiskey of the Year: "The entire BTAC." - A fine choice, but they should have picked only one this year so they could pick another one from the collection next year.I found this one interesting. John specifically pointed out that in any given year the BTAC had certain shining stars worth picking up. He said this was the first year that each release was on top of its game and for the first time all 5 were worth picking up. "get your checkbooks ready" I think is what he said.WLW is in its 6th release. I wonder how many more years it will be considered a "new whiskey."
