CorvallisCracker
Last week. at the OSU surplus property sale, I picked up a second hand scanning electron microscope for $7. Got it home and, of course, the first thing I wanted to look at was bourbon. Saw some pretty amazing stuff. Before showing the images, one of basic Ethanol: The first bourbon I looked at was some Heaven Hill 6/90. Next was some EC 18. Many say it spends too much time in the barrel. Took a look at some Johnny Drum. Some say that KBD stuff is just repackaged Heaven Hill juice. Here's PROOF that they're wrong. Scanned some GTS. It appears that BT uses a post-sales byproduct to bind an additional ethanol molecule. A look at Jack Black confirmed some suspicions I'd had. Ever wonder why Fishnbowl Joe likes Weller so much? Well, wonder no more!

craigthom
Okay, one more for today. Woodford Reserve Four Grain. Some of you may be wondering, "Where's the malt atom?" The malt atom is what's known as a "free radical". I was told this by a climate scientist at the Ayn Rand Institute, so I'm sure it's true. Are you sure this doesn't have some $ molecules in it? CorvallisCracker
Doesn't KBD bourbon have Fufarium in it?I believe it is the element FU. The whiskey doesn't but rumor has it that the owners have it in their DNA.
craigthom
Speaking of molecules, I saw some "Carbon Free" organic sugar in the grocery store yesterday. Isn't carbon free sugar just water?OK, maybe hydrogen peroxide, and maybe free hydrogen and oxygen, but water is funnier.(Yes, I know it's a trademarked way of saying "carbon neutral", but it still cracked me up.) pepcycle
If the Bulleit has any part of the 4 Roses, its probably the thorny stems.
