Impressions of 1849?

I agree with everything that folks said on this board about 1849 being brutal based on past tastings 2 years back. I vowed never to buy this again unless folks reported about the product being vastly improved.

Unfortunately, this product just made an appearance in NJ and I have the sickness where I have this need to buy it and taste it again. Does anyone know if this has gone through a cleansing process or are they just dumping this garbage in NJ b/c we are none for our wonderful dumps?
