Over the weekend I visited a local retailer to pick up a few bottles of Baby Saz. As a senior manager for a wine & spirits wholesaler, it's not too often that I buy at full retail.

Well, today I'm talking with the local Sazerac rep, and asked him, "Is there any chance you'll be allocating us some Baby Saz in the future?", to which he tells me that he did...a few months back. Sure enough, I check the warehouse and find six cases.

Did I mention that I hate buying at full retail? :grin:

Seriously, having access to a warehouse is the store of most of our dreams. Six cases is probably more than some would see in a lifetime.

Not yet, but am planning on cracking it open shortly. I need to try and keep the open stock in check otherwise the misses gets a little testy and shots me a glaring eye. Maybe in the next house I can a "shrine" that could rival your current setup.

Probably a good thing that she doesn't enjoy bourbon as i do. Makes the bottle last that much longer. :grin:
