Maker's Mark Mile and Ambassador Bottle Dipping

Anyone plan on attending the Maker's Mark Mile at Keeneland on Friday 4/11. Keeneland is always wonderful in spring and the Maker's Mile is becoming a classic. Even if you're not a fan, you should try and be there. (Weather doesn't look promising, but seating area is covered) I will be there and if you're coming PM me since I'll probably be tailgating before the first call to the post.

Saturday is an ambassador only event at the distillery and if you're in the vicinity, you might as well head to Louisville for Thunder Over Louisville, the opening event of Derby. Its an air show during the day and fireworks at night. I'll be at the Galt House watching from a balcony on the third floor.

I couldn't manage to get away from work to the race tomorrow, but Leslie and I might make it to the Distillery on Saturday. What time do you think you'll be there?

I like to get there early. We arrived last year at 10:30 AM and they had things going. By noon the line was 1/4 mile long for dipping. I should be easy to find. Don't step on my hands.
