Shipping (or lack of) To Texas

I was just crushed to learn that Shoppers Vineyard no longer ships to TX. This has been my go-to place for a few years now both here in TX and when I lived in MI. Great prices, good service and some unique offerings.

SV got the majority of my mail order business... which is about 1/4-to-1/3 of my overall purchases. They told me they got a series of nasty letters from the state threatening various things if they didn't stop.

A few other smaller retailers have also recently added TX to their "won't ship" list (bigger outlets like K&L and Binny's haven't shipped here for ages).

Would it be a bad idea to make a list of places we know that will ship to our great state? Or does that just open those stores up to getting shut down as well? I'd appreciate thoughts on if it's worth doing before we post some links would be great. (If anybody wants, I'll happily PM a list of the various places I do shop that (for now) will ship to People's Republic of Texas...)

At least we have a LOT better on the shelf local offerings (and pricing) than I had in Michigan... but still, I like to have my options and don't enjoy the state taking them away!:smiley_acbt:

Sad news about SV. I have ordered several times from them as well.
