Discounted Heaven Hill tour

The Groupon deal here in Louisville today is for half off the behind the scenes Connoisseur tour at Heaven Hill. Two tickets for $25. Surprising to me that someone would pay $25 for one ticket, trying to determine if it's worth $25 for two. Anyone take this tour and recommend it?

All at Bardstown, so I assume the "behind the scenes" part is the bottling line and, what, where they put it in barrels? The tasting mentioned is part of the standard free tour.

If this was at the distillery I'd consider it.

This tour is a deep look iniside our Heaven Hill I've seen our guest walk right thur our bottling lines (as we are running)...You get to see the new "dump room" pretty cool stuff. J-line is awesome, 350+ bottles per minute so fast the bottles are a blur Every aspect inside and out :grin:

Larry Kass would let me take groups of Straightborbon members for tours that I gave simular to this one ~ everyone loved it Until you get to see a bottlinghouse/dump room up close and personal you realize how amazing the pocess is ~ from barrel to bottle

Thanks for the info, sounds interesting but kind of expensive. Is that price mostly to keep out the general populace so you don't have hoards of people interrupting bottling?
