Driving down to Chicago this weekend & would love input on which Binny's location stocks the best selection.

Thanks in advance!

You need to slow down, Mat! You're in WAAY to many places lately. :D Never been, but from what I've read, the South Loop store is loaded.

BTW, Dawg RB's are dropping like flies. The new freshman kid, who they are expecting to be the next Herschel will probably be starting. The rest of the "Dream Team" freshman class will be getting a lot of time, too. Just around the corner.

Which one? Almost any one beats what I've seen that we got here.

Have some fun down there!

Slow down? Joe, for me this IS slowed down. Compared to when I had the winery, I'm positively retired.

I know...it's sad to see our Dawgs. Richt & his staff are great at recruiting on-field talent. It's what they do OFF the field that they don't seem to have a 'radar' for.

So, is 'East of the Big Chicken' Roswell by chance?

I'll have to look him up. Used to buy whiskey at that location when it was a Sam's. They sold my wines there, and I always seemed to buy more than I sold.

Swing by the S. Loop. I'll be around this weekend. When you planning on coming by?

Remember that just because you don't see something at the South Loop location doesn't mean that they don't have it...just ask Joe! :) Have a great time...Joe's a fantastic host!

Thanks Bob. When you coming back for a visit? Maybe a summer meet up chance?

I've had to call around for some hard to get stuff, like Pappy 20, recently.

Saw a bottle of WT Tradition at the Skokie store the other day. cool looking bottle, but wasn't sure about the taste. glad I passed.

As you know, I need to come up in the near future to pick up some purchased bottles. If the Chicago guys could come up with a date for a meet-up, I will do my best to make the trip then. Just don't make it Aug 20, since I've going to have the bourbon bottles out for guests that evening (always room for more so if you're coming just let me know so I can give directions).

Tom
