Enoch
I found about 20 handles of Evan Williams Black with faux tax tape for about $20 each. The upc is 83924 instead of the current 96749. The bottles date mid 80s. My question is whether there is any substantial difference in this (location, age, taste, etc.) and the current offering? p_elliott
The current stuff is NAS and distilled at Bernheim. The stuff you are asking about was distilled at the old HH distillery that burnt down and would be 7 yrs old stated on the bottle. I believe it was 8 yrs old at one time not sure when though. It would state so on the bottle if it was.
theDon
Substantially better than the current. Grab all you can.

craigthom
I think the seven year old is noticeably better than the NAS, but it's not amazingly better. If you like EWB, or you play to bring it to the KBF, then buy it.
