Enoch
Found a bottle of Stillbrook Straight Bourbon Whiskey today but can't find much about it. Says distilled in Illinois and bottled in weston, missouri. The bottle is pre-govt warning so it si from the late 80s. 80 mproof and 36 months. very mild but not bad tasting for a young bourbon. UPC is 85592.Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks,
Brisko
I think Weston, MO is the home of Platte Valley Corn Whiskey (now made at HH). Could be the same outfit.
tmckenzie
yep, weston should be mcormick and it was probably made at peoria.
sailor22
Old Setter was also distilled in Illinois but bottled in Maryland at Majestic. What was the distillery in Illinois? Sounds like they were distilling for several bottlers. Are there any similarities in taste between OS and Stillbrook?

sailor22
What year is on the bottom of your bottle of 90 proof OS? I have a handle of 90 proof that says it was distilled in Illinois and bottled in Maryland by Majestic. No bar code or Govt. warning but the date on the bottle is '82.Sounds like they were sourcing bulk from several distillers if yours says distilled in Ky.
