camduncan
Jim Beam Australia have announced that the Australian version of Red Stag - Black Cherry will be available from next week, just in time for the christmas buying frenzy. Australia will see a reduced proof product at 60 abv (30%). I've heard unconfirmed rumours that Beam are trying to go head-to-head with Wild Turkey's American Honey which has been the only bourbon based liquor on the Australian market for some years. It's also rumoured that Black Cherry will be strongly marketed to the Aussie female drinking population.
camduncan
Just had confirmation that price will run similar to Jim Beam White..... so Iexpect we'll see it at about the $32 mark, with specials ranging down to about $27..
ILLfarmboy
I notice the use of the word "liqueur".It made me smile.Though I wonder, in this case, if calling a spade a spade, has more to do with their target demographic than any moral sense of accuracy. GreggJ
As far as I am concerned they can ship it all overseas. If I want sticky cherry alcohol I'll stick to Nyquil. Not a fan of this Stag, The other Stagg is another story though.

Same would hold true in the EU.
