Interesting attempt to bring in business, but if they were to relocate I think it would be to another state with similar right to work labor laws...Ark, Miss, AL, VA, etc. I don't think the measure stands a chance of passing.

210.000 people visit a year....imagine losing that revenue.

I can see it now - The Wayne County Process, pure Saginaw River water, the taste of the thumb, some really catchy possibilities...

Or the McComb county process to capture the blue-collar vibe without getting too urban - using pure Unfiltered Detroit River water (yikes!) and a co-opting of the "Great Lakes, Great Whiskey, Great Times" slogan - seems like Michigan's motto was made for some liquor/beer brand...

Given Michigan's economy I could see them selling the rights to the state's name/brand for a modest fee...

I like those ideas Craig & Tim. "Jack Daniel's presents The State of Michigan"

Excellent idea Chuck. They already jumped on the honey bandwagon, why not cherry?

Other distinctive Michigan flavors might be in order too. Jack Daniel's frozen pasties with real Jack in the gravy. Michigan is Canadian Whisky country, so why not a Jack Daniel's finished in a Collingwood cask? SoCo has already gone down the savory booze route, so why not Jack? Picture this: Smoked Whitefish infused Jack Daniel's. Delicious.
