Johnnie Walker Double Black

I see that Johnnie Walker has this new "Double Black" out now for a limited time. Have any of you tasted it? I really like the regular black label but am curious as to whether or not this is some marketing ploy or if it's something I should snatch up to add to the collection.

I took a bottle to KBF this year and several people tried it. Didn't find anyone (including myself) that really enjoyed it (and I do enjoy regular black)

I just tried some of this last weekend. Not really a scotch drinker myself but:

I heard an interview where it is designed to bring out the smoky notes -- which it does. I also tasted a Talisker and Laguvulin in the same flight; the smokiness there was more "organic" compared to the Double Black which seems like liquid smoke added to a less-peaty whisky.
