autiger23
Anyone seeing these around much anymore in stores?I went to my ABC store a months ago and they had 3 under glass. Went back a week later to get at least one of them and they were all transferred to another store and sold. I called a store just over the border in TN and they have a handful but at $100 a bottle. I was hoping for around $75-80 somewhere. I don't see many online so I am guessing it really is getting near the end, anyone else seeing this locally? I don't see them in Atlanta at all when I get my orders there either.

CADMixes
I know of one store in the area that still has several on the shelf for ~$90. Going to try to get there and pick one up before Christmas. The 18 is still pretty much available.

awachatz
The 17 yr is definitely the way to go. I would pass on the 18 yr myself.

The reviews are near as favorable and the too much woody taste is all I need to stay away from my standpoint. Maybe ill just suck it up and get a couple at the $100 mark..argh.Wish I could at least get some for the $90 mentioned above.
Clavius
Not sure where you're located but a store here in Lexington, KY has quite a few 17's left at $74.99.

WsmataU
Pretty easy to find them in NoVA, DC, MD at the $90-100/btl range (both 17 and 18). There are plenty of others I'd rather drink at that price point...and I really like wheaters. I'd still rather have two Lot B's any day of the week. awachatz
I haven't been able to find anymore here is SE Michigan. Quite a shame, I would have to rate it in the top 5 bourbons that I have tried so far.

awachatz
FWIW, the 18s I have tasted were surprisingly less woody than the 17s.

GreggJ
In NH the 17's are long gone. I grabbed an 18 last week as an impulse buy. It is (only) $69.99 here. Basically grabbed it because the scarcity of SW juice. I figured I should buy it as I probably will not be seeing much if any more of it. I haven't popped the cork just yet but will certainly add my thoughts once I get around to trying it.
sailor22
The 17's are long gone around here but just this evening I did a taste comparison of two barrel picks by a local retailer of the 18. One was excellent with a soft complex balanced sweetness that begged another sip. The other was over wooded with a prickly mouth feel and a dryish finish. Still a decent pour but not in the same league as the first.I came away convinced that there are some really good barrels of the 18 out there - just need to be sure your buying a good one.
