Just purchased an unopened and full 1.75L Evan Williams BIB, green label in Georgia with stamps and a top label which says "Evan Williams since 1783 200 years of Good Taste".

The back label says: "Distilled by The Stonegate Distillery D.S.P 31 Bardstown Kentucky 40004. Bottled by Old Evan Williams Distillery --Since 1783 Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky 40004 D.S.P. KY, 31.

I'll try to post a picture tomorrow.

Looks like this could be a bottle from 1983???

Can anyone shed any light on the provenance of this bottle, and what it will taste like?

Thanks, Bill.

Hey, Bill. Does the label have a little log cabin looking thing on it?

Sure does. With "Distellery" written on front of cabin.

Joe, if worthy we'll have to "pop the cherry" on this at GBC meeting in Jan. to see how it's stood the test of time.

All the best, Bill.

Definitely! That is a really good dusty find. The HH BIB's are really tasty. And that's a label that's hard to find. Looking forward to hitting it next month.
