My daughter is going to be in Nashville for a couple of days. Are there any liquor stores that carry Weller 12 year or any other unusual bourbon that cannot be purchased in SC? In Nashville or Knoxville passing through.

Thanks,

Not sure what you have in knoxville, but on your way to Nashville Stop by Cheers in Lebanon at I/40 exit 238 )HWY 109 exit). Very good selection of BT and others including the weller 12. col. Taylor still on the shelf. PM me if your looking for saz18 - I know where one is

I called all of these and they all said that they were out and not likely to get anymore in. Weller 12 seems to be hard to find.

A bit out of the way...but, depends on how determined you are...have seen a decent supply of Weller 12 scattered around in Memphis stores I scouted earlier in the month. Of course, 200 miles west of Nashville and I would make sure I had a CCW if venturing deep into that town. I stay as far away as possible as much as possible...especially after sundown...lol

Other places in Nashville worth checking out that have decent bourbon selections

Grand Cru

Midtown Liquord

West End liquor

West Meade liquor (they have Willet 3 year rye and 17 yr bourbon)

Cool Springs liquor

Parkway Wine and Spirits

And cheers of course too

Mcscrooges in Knoxville. B&B in Kingsport.

You should definitely hit McScrooges in Knoxville. They always have 5 or so SB barrel picks of things such as FR, OWA, EC18, etc. They also have a fairly large stock of Weller 12 (this is where I found my first bottle). I couldn't imagine them not having any. The last time I was there they had plenty.

I was surprised at Binny's Lincoln Park yesterday that they didn't even seem to have a shelf slot for Weller 12. They were well-supplied with SR and Antique, however.

I noticed what looked like freshly stocked bottles at another Binny's just the other day so it appears that distribution continues to be inconsistent even within Binny's. The marketing of empty bottles next?
