Is this semi-dusty worth it?

Blanton's in a green box. It's only a 375 ml but its 40 bucks (I could probably argue him down to 35). It says it was dumped in 1996.

The problem is that there seems to be a little evaporation- the top 15-30 percent of the top dimple is where the line is.

What do you think?

Even if you talk him down you're paying $70 for a bottle of Blanton's...I would let that one continue to sit...:rolleyes:

The retail store shelf dusties that are the men among boys, are from the glut period. This gives them extra age in addition to the lower entry proof, more malt-less enzyme, better corn or other debated factors that create their taste. Chuck's most recent "Bourbon Country Reader" has a great write up on that period too.
