I am working hard to finish off some low fill bottles. In the past few days EC12, FRSB OBSV Rutledge Pick, and Johnny Drum Private Stock have hit the trash. A bottle of OWA Single Barrel will be joining them soon.

I currently have 68 open bottles (not counting 200ml, 375ml, etc). This is the first time I've been under 70 bottles in over a year. It's tough work, but someone has to do it!

Emptied a Makers Mark for a rib recipe, hope it turns out good after using two cups of bourbon.

Best regards, Tony

Said goodbye to a lovely bottle of Owensboro Ezra Brooks 90. It's like sucking on a butterscotch candy. I'd really like to know why I don't pick up on that great butterscotch flavor in any contemporary bourbons.

Irish bottles hitting the bin: Jameson, Jameson 12, Powers Gold and Tullamore Dew. Won't be long before the Paddy's follows suit.

I put a cap in the ass of a Pappy 15 the other night. It was a bottle from Spring '12 allocation. Through and through, good stuff. I believe this was $59 at the time, which is a fair price for an aged wheater. If the price raises much, however, I will likely lose interest in it.

Laid a bottle of Willet Kentucky Rye 25yo 94 proof Barrel 1372 to rest last night. It was a purchase from Limburg where I bought what they had = a third filled bottle

A VSOF BHC edition hit the bin. Not really enjoyable like I thought it would be. It's been open for about a year now, and just never got better. Some days it was decent, enjoyable, but mostly just not my flavor profile I guess.

Now to figure out what to do with the others I have.

Eh Taylor tornado, I enjoyed the shit out of this bottle. Hopefully the bunkered brothers are as good.

Polished the EWSB 2000. Definitely a great year for the EWSB and as I have found with each EWSB I have drank, got better the longer it was open.

Been letting this PHC wheated sit with a pour & 1/2 left for at least 6 mos. Tonight was the first glass I truly enjoyed in its entirety. Now to finish off the last of the 2011 WLW that's been holding out about the same for 2 mos.

Finished off a bottle of EWSB 2002. Good. Very good. Although I think I might have liked the EC12 I had a few months ago a little better. Tough call.
