sku
This is a pretty hilarious video of NY Chef David Chang (Momofuko) trying to teach people about bourbon based on a pretty loose understanding of the facts and apparently after already having sampled liberally from the stock.http://eater.com/archives/2012/01/12/a-slightly-intoxicated-david-changs-guide-to-bourbon.php

White Dog
Even slightly drunk and wanting to hate on it, he could not deny the greatness of OGD.

Eth3rStrik3r
We Americans should be proud of your crappy beer, you can drink a lot of it, like water.Man is he drunk or what. Could barely stand up at the beginning of the video ha.
Jonny.Applebury
I caught this video this morning on my Facebook news feed. My first thought was to run here to post it up. You beat me to it, sku!I was smiling while watching this one. Probably because of - not in spite of - the mix of really good bourbons and very limited bourbon knowledge, all delivered by a happily drunk host. I didn't know that Buffalo Trace brews their bourbon! :slappin:
cowdery
He said he learned everything he knows about bourbon from Julian Van Winkle. Julian must be so proud.
grubbster
That video is highly edited! It almost made me feel drunk the way they were cutting in and out. I would love to see all the stuff they edited out.
smokinjoe
Thanks for that, Sku. Funny stuff. I'm sure we've all "been there" in that state, while trying to tell someone about bourbon...I do like his rec of BT and Pumpkin Pie. That sounds like a perfectly delicious pairing. :yum:
mrviognier
Couldn't watch it all the way through. My first thought was, "Oh, great, yet someone else telling those unfamiliar with Bourbon that PVW was the end all, be all". Like we need more people out there looking for it. I DID like that he admitted the OGD 114 was really good.
