What do you think of it? Is it worth it? Anyone know where it's actually distilled?

The forum search is your friend. Templeton has been discussed ad nauseum.

Cliff Notes: Yes it's good. It's distilled in Indiana at LDI. Headquarters in Iowa.

Haven't tried the whiskey in a few years but they have a lovely story to go along with it and double the price. Marketing ain't cheap.

A story that is no less lovely for being fiction.

As noted, it's LDI rye - in the "old days" it was a 6 year old... Not the case anymore.

I will gladly continue the notions that you'd be better off with Bulleit @ about 4 years and 1/2 the price, or even find a Willet 4yr @ 110pr for around $35.

Do some reading on their (hyperbole-ridden) backstory and then decide if you want to pursue it over other LDI derived products.
