Picked up two New Mexico Bourbons Today

Was in Santa Fe for the day, and came across two Bourbons from two different distilleries based in NM. The first is a 750ml of Blue Corn Bourbon from Don Quixote Distillery. The second is a 375ml of Taos Lightning Bourbon. I heard that Taos Lightning also makes a Rye Whiskey, but nobody seemed to have any.

Has anyone had the opportunity to taste these? Would love to hear your thoughts if you have.

I'll get around to tasting them soon, and will be happy to post notes.

I just Googled the Blue Corn: it's a wheater! Also says 4 years in the barrel: I wonder what sized barrels.

I was told by the (very informed) sales clerk at the store that they were making their own Rye and Bourbon. Unlike Don Quixote, the folks at Taos Lightning don't appear to have a website. Kinda odd.

Will put these aside for tasting this weekend.

What does the Taos bottle say? They have to list the state of origin of the whiskey on the label. If there is a New Mexico address and no other statement (such as a statement that it was produced in Indiana or Kentucky), then it was made in New Mexico.
