Looking for a worthwhile stop Maryland Rt 13

So I have to make a last minute trip from CT to pick up my niece and nephew. They live in Norfolk, VA but we are going to meet along RT 13 or RT 1 in Maryland, maybe as far as Dover.

Anyone have a place in mind that I can stop and find a nice selection?
