Anyone tried CC 15? I've spent the past 20 minutes searching and haven't found a whole lot. It appears to have some connection to KBD. I ask 'cause I've recently seen it for about $60 and was intrigued...but intriguing isn't worth that kind of money. My fear was that it was an overpriced, lower proof Noah's Mill. Any input is appreciated!

Never seen it in ATL or online. My skepticism usually kicks in on stuff like that. Too much other good stuff out there. If that bottle was sitting next to a four roses private barrel at 100 proof, it would be no contest.

After all my research I think the most I learned about this bourbon came from a Brooklyn restaurant menu. Next to Classic Cask 15 yr Bourbon was the price: $100 per ounce. It can't be $100 per ounce good and the price is likely reflecting it's rarity, but that alone warrants a purchase.

Last year I had Classic Cask 13 at Death and Co in NYC for 14 or 15 bucks. It was pretty good stuff but I wasn't about to search everywhere for a bottle.

They also had the 15 year and it was higher in price. Much less than $100/oz however.

Wow.

Including Henry McKenna 10 year old? Is this a different version than the single barrel that I can get for <$25?

Yes. They told me the story about it then. Can't remember now

FWIW a couple others and I sampled the CC 15 and it appears to be a wheater. Tastes very much like PVW 15 watered down to 90.8 proof. Beyond that I'm having a hard time remembering the details...not because it was anything less than superb, but rather because there were A LOT of superb bourbons sampled last night. I'll have to revisit it soon and take notes.
