I love these old registers as the perfect example of the pride, workmanship, and ornate beauty that used to be put into products of that day. And they don't look half bad on a bar, either.

Excellent story... I had a much simpler Class 300 for a while, but it was really broken and I could never get it working. It got given away for parts. Someday I hope to find another cool register, though maybe a little smaller and simpler than a 500...

They were very fresh back then -- had to let 'em ripen a bit. That 15 is long gone (shame, since it was one of the only two SWers I had), and the Lot B...well, guests are encouraged to sample the Lot B to experience the purest essence of this most overrated of brands.... :grin:
