Sarasota FL and Weller 12 year question

My daughter is going to be in Sarasota FL next week. Any suggestions on liquor stores and also would like to know if Weller 12 year is sold in Florida?

Can't answer the question, but I have come to realize by reading this board how lucky we are that Texas has been huge Weller country since at least the 50's and we get the major supply of the Weller 12. Good luck to your daughter!

Can't provide any recommendations for stores, but they definitely sell Weller 12 year in Florida. The only place that I've seen any Weller products though has been at the ABC Liquor Stores. I've heard that they have an arrangement with the Weller line in FL.

I haven't been to Sarasota for several years but there was a nice liquor store located at St. Armonds circle and one called Longboat Key liquors (I think) a few miles north on the right in a little plaza. ABC does carry Weller 12 but it comes and goes!

The only place I've seen Weller sold in Florida was at the ABC chain.

Weller 12 is available at most ABC liquor stores in Florida. It's not ABC as in a control state but just the name of a very large state wide chain. Pretty good selection of Bourbons.
