John Begg Blue Cap Scotch

Found a bunch of these (~$2 per 200 ml bottle) with tax stamps so they are from the 70s. Does anyone know anything about it. They also had a bunch of Usher's Green Stripe from the same time. Anyone know anything about it either. Thanks,

Look at the price...if you have some for $2 it appears to be a good find for a defunct blend.

I tried Usher's Green Stripe several years ago. It seemed like fairly typical lower end blended Scotch.
