Enoch
The one day of the year I drink Irish Whiskey and this year I bought a nice bottle of Redbrest. What will you drink. (My daughter will be drinking Guinness I know.) Is there any Irish wine for the wife?

Ever since drinking entirely too much Paddy's one fateful St. Patrick's Day, I have avoided Irish Whiskey.

cigarnv
Will enjoy a range of Irish whiskey from the Paddy's through Green Spot. Currently participating in a blind Irish whiskey tasting with 11 other folks that has introduced me to the range of Irish whiskey available.... fantastic way to truly understand whiskey as well as your palate. MarkEdwards
In the morning, Irish Breakfast tea (with shamrock shortbread cookies from Harney Teas), then I will go to the range and shoot stuff. Later, I will have a Guinness or two with lunch, and my evening pours will be Redbreast, Powers and Midleton.

cbus
Irish Car Bombs, more than likely. Hopefully some 12 year Jameson as well.
T Comp
Got a 1/2 bottle left of the Redbreast cask to work on. There are plenty here in Chicago (though that could change after tomorrow) and it's whiskey that equals Pappy 15, at least in excellence, without the hassle. This is the biggest drinking weekend of the year in Chicago and the string of summer weather, with another 80 degree day in the forecast (normal high is 45), will keep barkeeps and policemen extraordinarily busy. Parkersback
I've contemplated picking up a Powers 12. I like the regular expression, and figure I'd like the 12 as well. If anyone has some tomorrow and wants to post some notes, I'd love to hear them.
