Ejmharris
I've contemplated picking up a Powers 12. I like the regular expression, and figure I'd like the 12 as well. If anyone has some tomorrow and wants to post some notes, I'd love to hear them.you won't be disappointed with the powers 12. Other than Redbreast it is my 2nd favorite Irish Whiskey. dohidied
Got some Wild Geese Irish Soldiers & Heroes blend as a birthday present. Gave it a try to iChat and it's very tasty. Light with a bit of sweet lemon.
TheDude
Wow! I'm glad to hear all of the great feedback on the Redbreast CS. I've thoroughly enjoyed my recent experience with the Redbreast regular 12 year, and can't wait to pour the CS tomorrow.I'm on the hunt for a few more to stash away. c2walker
Can anyone confirm that the Redbreast CS is a permanent addition to the line? I haven't seen anything mentioning that it's a limited edition (though this batch is obviously limited), but from all of the amazing reviews it almost seems too good to be true. p_elliott
I have a brand new bottle of Redbreast 12 to open up Saturday night along with some Jameson 12 and Black Bush. Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!! Lets all meet up in chat for a pour.
Bourbon Boiler
The only Irish whisky option at my local liquor store was Jameson. I hadn't ever noticed before. I bought a 375 mL to try it. Not very exciting, but certainly drinkable. It does make me curious enough to try a higher quality Irish.
moose
I got Guiness Draught, Murphy's Stout, Jameson, Bushmills, and Merry's Irish Cream. Not going to be opening the Bushmills, just stocked up @ $14.99.

bigtoys
mixed/shook up a small version of the Gibson's Manhattan, but used the Double Oaked instead of regular WR. Tasted good. Will have to do a side-by-side taste with the WR soon. yeah, I forgot to buy M. cherries.

Tucker
Just finished a bottle of Knappogue Castle 1995 and am moving on the the Black Bush (and kicking myself for passing on the Redbreast CS at Binny's back in January).
smokinjoe
Guinness Draught and Innis & Gunn Irish Whiskey Cask were my beers for the day. Powers Gold and Redbreast 12 Cask Strength were the whiskies. Mixed in there was corned beef, boiled red taters, and steamed cabbage. Now, settling down outside with a dessert of 08 WLW and Girl Scout Thin Mints out of the freezer. The Redbreast CS continues to make me swoon. I'm now to the point of approaching it with the idea that it can't be that good. But, it just....is. Heck, it even can't get funked by cabbage. wadewood
did a blind tasting of Red Breast 12, Jameson 12 and regular Jameson. I ranked in that same order.

cigarnv
Finish off last evening with a few Bushmill 16YO's. Always a solid whiskey..
jburlowski
Started the day with Redbreast 12 but spent most of my time with Connemara peated single malt. The latter has just the right amount of smoke for my palate.
Bourbon Boiler
A little late, but I'm drinking the Redbreast 12 today. Figured I had to try it.
gblick
I have never liked any of the Irish whiskies that I've tried, though I honestly haven't tried very many. But this past Saturday I decided to buy a bottle of Redbreast 15 for St. Patrick's Day, since it gets such good reviews here. Wow, the Redbreast 15 really surprised me, it's great!
