I just received some information regarding this year's WhiskyFest to be held in NYC on 10/21. In addition to the huge variety that I'm sure will be available, here's a few that caught my attention: Michter's US *1 Small Batch and US *1 Single Barrel Straight Rye; and the Evan Williams Single Barrel '94 will be there for the tasting.

Last years event was a lot of fun, with lots of good drinkin'! drink.gif One of the best parts was getting to meet Julian Van Winkle and tasting a few of his superb products for the first, but definitely not last, time. bowdown.gif I'm sure this year will be great again. If anyone is planning to attend, let's meet! toast.gif

Bob, Thanks for the info. I haven't gone before, but Chris attended one year. Hopefully this year we can all meet up. drink.gif

There's less than 2 weeks to go till the WhiskyFest event in NYC (10/21). Just checking to see if anyone here has decided to go. If so, let me know, so we can have a drink together! toast.gif

If you intend to go buy your ticket now as it always sells out even if just a few days before the event.

Bill Samuels(Makers Mark), Chris Morris(Woodford Reserve)and Fred Noe(Jim Beam) are each giving a 45 minute seminar in one of the rooms off to the side of the main event, in which you get to taste products as well. Also George T. Stagg is listed as one of the products available to sample, although I don't know if that has changed.
